Do I qualify as a non-commercial user?
If you are a student or university lecturer and OMNeT++ is used in teaching, then it qualifies as non-commercial activity. If you are doing research with OMNESTTM/OMNeT++ (whether at a university, research institute or company), then the deciding factor is whether the results will be publicly available (i.e. published in a journal or presented at a public conference), or will be used in the creation of a commercial product. For a more detailed description please check the Licensing FAQ. We reserve the right to make final judgment on this issue in any specific case.
